Carl Snyder is the Director of the Industry Value Engineering team for the US Banking practice at SAP. Carl began his career with SAP in 2009 - where his role is to lead a team of industry experts who provide deep and broad banking knowledge and expertise to the Financial Services division of SAP in the United States. Working with regional, super-regional and the largest banks in the country, he and his team focus on Core Banking Transformation, Omni-Channel Strategy, Maximizing Revenue and the Customer Experience, as well as a broad range of other banking services.� In addition to providing knowledge and experience, Carl�s role is to work with banks to help build out their strategies and how SAP can provide the technology to execute on those initiatives.� Carl and his team work closely with the SAP account executives to provide leadership and training within the banking space.Carl came to SAP with more than 22 years in the banking industry.� Most recently, he was the President of the Zions Internet Bank and director of the online and mobile channels at Zions Bank.� Carl was also responsible for the Online and Mobile channels within the bank.� Prior to the Internet Banking position, Carl was the EVP and Director of Retail Bank Operations for Zions Bancorporation. He was responsible for consolidating the operations of six affiliate banks into one center of excellence � while improving the operational efficiency and service for the organization.� In addition, Carl was the SVP and Region Manager over a group of 15 � 20 branches and managed three branches earlier in his career.� Carl�s banking career has been focused in the retail banking space - focused on delivering a differentiated customer experience, and has experience in driving branch and bank profitability by implementing efficiency programs, retail pricing strategies and aggressive sales initiatives. � �Snyder is also an Adjunct Professor of Business Strategy and Operations Management at the University of Utah.� Carl received an MBA from the University of Utah and has an undergraduate degree from BYU. He also is a graduate of the PacificCoastBankingSchool at the University of Washington.��
