Lora Hoff, CFP™

Lora Hoff is a business owner who delights in making a positive impact in the lives of others. Her experience gives her unusual insight to bring the tax and investment strategies utilized by Fortune 500 companies to the closely-held business owner.  In 1996, she entered the investment world to become a trust account specialist. She worked for two North American banking giants, managing the investment allocation and administration of retirement plans and tax efficient trusts established by multimillion-dollar corporations.  When she decided to pursue financial planning, she completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ course through University of North Texas.\r\n Lora has spent years making use of state-of-the-art strategies and techniques to help her clients achieve their financial goals. Her specialty is working with business owners who need individual financial planning and the extensive planning necessary to address every need of their business including executive fringe benefits, business continuation and succession and employee benefit programs.  Integrated into each client’s planning are the themes of wealth accumulation, tax efficiency, asset preservation, and wealth transfer strategies.  She also helps clients limit their liability across various entities, through careful and customized asset protection strategies.\r\n \r\nIn 2006, she moved her financial planning practice to Investment Planners, Inc. and IPI Wealth Management, an independent broker-dealer and RIA in Decatur, Illinois.  Lora offices with a group of attorneys and accountants who are able to offer additional support and advice.  With her background in trust wealth management and with tax and legal professionals working jointly in her office, she is uniquely qualified to address issues with a unified approach.   With IPI Wealth Management behind her, she is able to offer unbiased financial planning and client service with an emphasis on relationships.  \r\nLora was recently named a Five Star Wealth Manager for the third year in a row by Texas Monthly magazine.  She belongs to the Dallas Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and does pro-bono work for them several times a year.  She is excited to be on a panel at the upcoming Women’s Advisors Forum for its first time in Dallas later this month.\r\n
