The customizable app features videos, direct access to global and international investing commentary, and the ability to follow selected funds. The Henderson Global Fund app also includes standardized performance updates, fund fact sheets, fund-specific information and presentations.
Alanna Nensel, director of US Retail Marketing at Henderson Global Investors, said advisors are becoming more dependent on mobile apps for information and insights to put market trends into context.
“Our goal is to provide advisors with a deeper understanding of our investment products and strategies, but also to facilitate efficient ways for them to deliver that information to their investor clients,” Nensel said in a statement.
The app, available for free on the iTunes store, is part of Henderson’s wider mobile and social media strategy to connect with investors and advisors.
