The latest hires have come to the firm since late August, following a spate of new advisors this summer with $1.4 billion in assets.
Ten of the new advisors hired come from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The remaining 14 include five advisors from UBS, four from Merrill Lynch, two from Stifel Nicolaus, two from RBC Capital Markets and one from Wedbush Securities.
Advisors joining Wells from Morgan Stanley include a three-member advisor team, Andrew Siegel, Nickolaus Roeschley and William Kulesh in Scottsdale, Ariz., who had $231 million in assets under management. That team includes client associates Debbie Hayward and Maria Caffray. They report to branch manager Robert Burghart.
Two-member-team Nancy Johnson and Susan Elena also join from Morgan Stanley in Irvine, Calif. Together, they previously managed $210 million in assets. They report to complex manager Mark Zielinski.
Also joining from Morgan Stanley in Plano, Texas, is a three-member advisor team, Chris Queen, Peggy Etheridge and Jason Hofnagel. They had $206 million in assets under management. The team is joined by client associate Melinda Le Pert and reports to branch manager Jim Doran.
Two more Morgan Stanley advisors, Curtis Coburn and Wade Meeks, joined Wells Fargo in Little Rock, Ark. They previously oversaw $127 million in client assets and report to branch manager Mark Trevillian.
Among the advisors joining Wells Fargo from UBS are a father-daughter team, Robert Shwedel and Andrea Roth in Walnut Creek, Calif. They previously had $196 million in assets under management and report to branch manager Kevin Smith.
In addition, financial advisor Rich Ceffallio returns to Wells Fargo after four years at UBS. He most recently had $165 million in client assets under management. Ceffallio’s team includes financial advisor in training Jim Cox. They report to branch manager George Styskal.
Also joining Wells Fargo from UBS are Susan Gallagher in Bethesda, Md., and Curt Coulter in Pittsburgh. Gallagher previously managed $146 million in client assets and reports to complex manager Buck Grier. Coulter most recently had $134 million in client assets under management and reports to market manager Nicholas Bruno.
Wells Fargo nabbed a three-member advisor team from Merrill Lynch in Oxford, Miss. Robert Evans, Walt Shinault and Richard Hastings previously managed $250 million in client assets. The team, which includes client associate Lisa Howell, reports to branch manager Allen Kimbrell.
Also coming from Merrill Lynch is financial advisor W. Howard Humphrey in Parkersburg, W.V. Humphrey previously had $101 million in client assets under management and reports to complex manager Charles Capito.
Wells Fargo also hired two advisors from Stifel Nicolaus and two from RBC Capital Markets. Joining from Stifel Nicolaus are Allen Wilson in Morristown, N.J., and Bradley Gummow in Chicago. Wilson previously had $212 million in client assets under management. Wilson’s team, which includes client associate Susan McNamara, reports to complex manager Tom Thives. Gummow oversaw $100 million in client assets. His team, which includes financial consultant Thomas Weightman, reports to complex manager Kevin Ortmeyer.
Joining from RBC is two-member financial advisor team Robert Hart and Thomas Tonkovich in Spring Lake, N.J. They previously oversaw $107 million in client assets and report to complex manager John Puzio.
Wells Fargo has also hired one advisor, Greg Moore, in Portland, Ore., from Wedbush Securities. Moore previously had $139 million in client assets under management. He reports to complex manager Kirk Mandlin.
