BNY Mellon Wealth Management has hired financial services veterans Kristopher Carney and Angela Smith Domzal to join its Tri-State wealth management team, the firm announced Wednesday.

Carney, 46, was appointed senior portfolio manager. He joins BNY Mellon from Dillon Trust Company. Domzal, 50, was named sales director for Manhattan. She was formerly with Wells Fargo, where she was a senior relationship manager focused on institutions and not-for-profit segments.

The new hires will strengthen “BNY Mellon’s position in offering comprehensive wealth and investment management services to current and prospective clients in the Tri-State area,” Tom Hurlbrink, managing director of Sales for the Tri-State region, said in a statement. The Tri-State area is the greater metropolitan New York area.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management manages about $168 billion in private client assets. It has a network of more than 40 offices in the U.S. and internationally.
