BNY Mellon Wealth Management has named an expert in philanthropy and planned giving sales director of its Charitable Solutions Group. Jackie Franey will advise endowments and foundations on fundraising and planned giving strategies and help wealthy families and individuals develop philanthropic plans, the company said.
Franey will be responsible for cultivating new clients and deepening relationships with existing clients for the Charitable Solutions Group, one of the largest such groups in the U.S., according to BNY Mellon.
“Jackie’s strong background in fundraising and planned giving for nonprofits and her expertise in helping wealthy families craft their philanthropic plans will further strengthen the already robust array of service we offer our clients,” Managing Director Eileen Foley said in a statement.
Franey joins BNY Mellon from the Communities Foundation of Texas, where she served as donor relations director for six years. While there, she established more than $45 million in charitable gifts working with high-net-worth donors and families on their gift-giving plans. Prior to that, Franey managed the national planned giving program for the American Heart Association. She has more than 20 years of experience working with prospects, donors and professional advisors to establish major and planned gifts for several charitable organizations, according to BNY Mellon.

Its Charitable Solutions Group works with more than 350 client organizations in managing and administering assets within their endowments, foundations and planned giving programs.
