Fifth Third Securities Inc., a subsidiary of Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bank, has promoted Mike Collins to area investment manager for the bank’s Northern Cincinnati and Western Ohio region. He will oversee a “growing team of investment and insurance professionals who provide financial guidance, investment services, individual retirement strategies, education savings strategies and insurance,” the firm said in a statement.
Howard Hammond, president and chief executive officer of Fifth Third Securities, noted in the statement that Collins’ experience in investment advising will allow him to guide clients toward achieving their long-term financial goals.
Collins has worked for Fifth Third Securities for 15 years. He was most recently an investment executive at the company. Collins’ promotion follows the firm’s appointment in December of Gregory Scott Palmer as investment manager for the Greater Chicago area.
