Edward Jones Advisors To Sell John Hancock Products

John Hancock Life Insurance, a unit of John Hancock Financial, will begin selling its products through Edward Jones financial advisors.


Under the distribution agreement announced Tuesday, which goes into effect immediately, Edward Jones advisors will have access to John Hancock’s life insurance products, underwriting and its Advanced Markets unit.


Available products include John Hancock’s Protection UL-G, Protection VUL, Protection SUL-G, Performance UL, Accumulation VUL, Accumulation SVUL, Protection Whole Life, and Term.


Edward Jones has more than 12,000 advisors in the United States and Canada with more than eight million clients. John Hancock Financial, which is based in Boston, is a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., a Toronto company that had $407.1 billion of assets under management as of Sept. 30.
