Morgan Joseph, a New York City headquartered full service investment bank, has added four new managing directors to its institutional equity marketing group.

The new coterie of investment pros include J. Sherman Bartley and Todd Clark, both of whom will focus on West Coast operations and will be based in California. Alternately, on the East Coast, Chesley Snider and Gregory Pizzitola, will be situated in the Big Apple, an Aug. 3 press release said.

Bartley, a 30-year veteran, most recently served as a managing director of institutional sales at Soleil Securities, and Clark, a 27-year veteran, was the former managing director and head of equity capital markets at San Francisco-based Nollenberger Capital Partners prior to signing on with Morgan Joseph.

Alternately, Snider joins Morgan Joseph from C.L. King & Associates where he was VP of research sales and Pizzitola was most recently a managing director and head of institutional trading at Brean Murray Carret & Company, the release said.

William McDermott, the head of Morgan Joseph’s institutional equity group, said in comments that today that the new appointments “underscores [the] firm’s commitment to a robust distribution platform for equity securities.

“While adding to our ability to support Morgan Joseph’s expanding mid-market capital raising capabilities, they enhance our ability to broaden the delivery to clients of our exceptional service, a must in today’s challenging market environment,” McDermott added in his statement.

Currently, in addition to its research and trading offerings for its institutional clients, Morgan Joseph also provides financial advisory and capital raising assistance as well.
