Setting Up an Advisory Council

Although setting up an advisory council may be intimidating at first, there are benefits to having one. Brian Sweet, founder and chief executive officer of Sweet Financial Services, says that having an advisory council gives direction to a firm as to what should and shouldn’t be done. Clients that are part of the council may also have more incentive to provide referrals as a result.
