Northern Trust has bolstered its wealth management team in Washington, D.C., with the addition of veteran advisor Brian Heilman to its staff. Heilman joins the company’s wealth management division as a senior portfolio manager and will work with a team of financial planners, trust advisors, private bankers and others to “create and execute tailored investment programs for clients,” the bank said in a statement.
Heilman reports to Joanie Stringer, managing director of the Washington, D.C., office, which opened in October to snag wealth management business in the area.
